FAA SIZE 1 International Orange Windsock 8 feet (2400mm) long with an 18" (460mm) diameter mouth and a 9" (230mm) diameter tail. Made from UV resistant nylon fabric with a water resistant coating. Each windsock has 14 non rust brass grommets with double stitched seams.

Characteristics
5.1.3 The windsock should be in the form of a truncated cone made of fabric and should have
a length of not less than 3.6 m and a diameter, at the larger end, of not less than 0.9 m. It should
be coloured light orange or white and constructed so that it gives a clear indication of the
direction of surface wind and a general indication of wind speed when seen from a height of 300
m (1000 ft).
